I think Robby knows how to run the new pavement. Having drafting buddies - that will be a challenge. Kyle Petty says this is inherently unfair to single car teams - with having to go two by two. But even having a drafting partner may not be great considering all the wrecks caused by the pushers or the pairs behind you. Several teams are already saying they are not practicing Friday and Saturday because the chances of wrecking are too high. This race is not a test of driving skill any more and I don't think hardly any car will be unscathed on Sunday.

Okay so RG has spent the last week at daytona and his car is in one pc... Awesome!

This year those 3 points for leading a lap are huge... Consider this: it's like leading lap in three races last year. Top 20s are the only way you can survive now. But NASCAR should have made pos 30th - 43rd only 1 point.

I think it's only 1 pt for leading a lap? Additional 3 is for "winning", which makes absolutely no sense to me, there should be points for 1st place, no worrying about having to add on pts after the fact.

@Blitz, remember they repaved the track and removed the 6" whoops on the banking, removing the handling aspect from Daytona's personality.This whole dance partner thing is aero.

You are gabbing on about Pre-Daytona 2011. Have been paying attention to anything so far this year? Hanging out in the back? LOL. If anyone loses the "draft" this year, they will be lapped in no time. Handling track? Not this year bud.
