If Qual is rained out 2 of these four would miss the show: 13, 60, 64, 66

And those two would be determined by Qual order at Phoenix, lol what a way to miss the race.
Only 40 cars on the initial Nationwide entry list.
Or maybe it's just me that thinks any race that Robby is running this year is going to be pretty damn exciting.
fastback, it's you....... PHX is a great race to watch as a fan....
It sure was fun last year watching Robby come up through the pack passing cars like crazy after losing a ton of spots in the pits.
@fastback, are you confusing Fontana for Pheonix?! Fontana snuz,Phoenix character. (if Phoenix is boring,it disproves that 'CUP' needs shorter races)
Been to Phoenix for the last 16 yrs. had a spot in the infield #60. Used to sit on the hill....then went to the back stretch..track converted the spots going into turn 3 where RG parks his trailer....now you have to own a spot.....5K not worth it., but standing along the fence about 10 ft above the dog leg was soooo close it would almost blow your hat off. But with that said this race typically has long green runs (boring). Last yr a little drama when the 11 & 18 had to pit 15 laps from the end and others saved fuel. To park in the infield you have to have a rist band just to get in $110.00, when we started going it was $45.00 and it included access to pit lane except for Sunday. Now pit lane is an extra $85.00.

The races are not fan friendly $$$$$ I think NA$CAR has priced themselves out of the market....especially with the current economy.

Just an old timers opinion...............have a great race RG.
my first nascar race only there because of the no7 wish me luck
same here, except I brought 14 high school kids for their first race also.
any news on appearances?
Enjoy, there are ton's of nuance's to 'CUP' racing , Pheonix is a fun race to attend, remember 'things' fellow Planeteer's have posted.
Really excited after Daytona and watching the restarts and the power that the #7 displayed. Last year Robby would lose about two or three spots and have to fight to get them back before advancing.
If you noticed Daytona, the car had lots of take off. Don't know if it was different gear selection or just overall power in the motor, but I will watch Phoenix with much anticipation of restarts and watching to see if the "get up and go" is in this car at the smaller track as well as the Superspeedway.
Speed On!
I agree... I am super pumped for this race and have some pretty high expectations just for the fact that it seems RG seems a bit more relaxed and upbeat this year. I know its only the 2nd race, but the attitude seems right this year.
