Yes!! Jeffy!!
Great effort and comback for Robby and the crew; but still an all too familiar finishing spot.
looks like he is 24th in driver points and 25th in owner. Could be worse. Could be much better as he had two great hot rods and should have had better results to show for them. That's racin. Hopefully he gets a better result in Vegas! We will really see what he has as it is the first 1.5 mile track.
Rob drove the piss outa that car after the wreck. His RF wheel was shoved back and body pretty hammered. Good to see team bring it back out and attempt the achieve the best points possible
26th in Points.

I know it;s a little early....but looking at the Owner Standings....ans the cars in 34-40th...as long as we have a driver in the 7 car all year...book the Daytona 500 locked in in 2012
Nothing we could to do about today..but it sucks...I may be drinking the Speed Fuel flavored Kool-Aid....but all we need to do is somehow finish 20th and win a road course and...welll I think we're in the Chase..

Today is the kind of day we needed to get lucky and avoid the carnage and come home with a top 15....is what it is..nothing you can do about it
Lets look at the bright side. Robby had another good car until the wreck. Good runs spoiled by other drivers' accidents happen all the time in racing. It was just one of those days.
A really tough day - lots of good cars taken out. Totally blew my fantasy racing picks! Robby and the team did great to get it back on the track and salvage a better finish. Looked like it was pretty hard to drive. Happy for Jeff, though :-))
With the new Easy Point System... It's real easy to gain ALOT of positions in the points in one race and easy to loose ALOT of points. The new system keeps everyone close in points. No more 3-5 points per positions...Just 1 point. So you can make up ground with a strong run and loose ground with a poor finish.

Hopefully we can start gaining ground soon.
thats all relative....easy to gain on a guy who has a mediocre or bad run but harder to gain on a guy who runs decent ( in relation to old points system).....each position is now equally weighted...but compared to the old system...that 1 point per position eiher equtes to 5, 4 or 3 per posiion...

the way I look at it...think if th eold system had 5 points pre position all the way thru,..but still started at 180 (not including laps led etc)..

43rd would be worth big time NEGATIVE points...but it wasnt...it ws worth 34.....

youll see a lot of position swapping amonst 18th-30th during the year....but the top 15 or so will be pulling away BIG tim eunderthis points system
