Dave,
Couldn't agree more. RG is a top notch driver. I have followed since CART days. RG was a gentleman to me and my wife at Phoenix last week. We are "old people" but he took time to pet our dog and sign some autographs. All the best to the entire team at Vegas. Yesterdays nonsense will pass and RG will rise above when it counts... On the track!
yeyes duck - met him in miami when he was in cart racing for panasonic. took time to let me get a pic with him - even waitied while we we had trouble with the camera. and i always hear nice things about hoim mixing with the fans. i got into baja - and even went out there and did a 3 day baja dirt bike tour with bajabound - all influnced by watching him, but he is 42 now and this nonsense is so frustrating. i route for him cause he is "on his own" out there against they hugely funded teams. just makes it ...well frustrating i guess...
didnt proof read that before sending lol...
Don't worry about proof reading.
We feel the same way. NASCAR should appreciate wht RG does. A Team owner employing a bunch of people and now he gets probation. Nonsense! This guy is an American hero who sets the standard for ingenuity and creativity. He has Kept his team alive in some of the worst economic times this contry has ever seen... That is a testament to resilience, energy and effort that few have. The controversy with KC is unfortunate. Emotions, $$$ and legal stuff shouldn't be allowed in the garage. RG needs to set it aside and go race Sunday. i will be on a dirt bike in SW USA while RG is kicking butt in Vegas.
Robby was great with us at Daytona!!!!! NASCAR is lucky to have him!!!
Where are you riding....
Had a great time at "Gordon's Well " today. Paddled up the KTM and shredded. Little windy but warm and comfortable. DVR'd the race and was disappointed yet pleased at the same time. Would love to go to San Felipe and watch the RG trophy truck but I don't trust that place. Take care
I live in Vegas and was looking forward to tweets from Robby telling me where I could pick up some SPEED!!!!!!! But I guess the dude that needs extenze caused RG to cut off communication. Not blaming Robby though. As a lawyer, I would suggest he invoke his right to remain silent until the dust settles. Maybe I can catch up with him later this year when he comes back to vegas to win $5 million.
I can tell all of you that if you owed me that kind money.... I would fucking put some knuckle to your chin.. that being said let's talk about racing. I for one sure hope they find some SPEED tomorrow.
im in vegas also...check out your local terrible herbst store... they all have speed in stock. if you dont see it on the floor, ask the people working there. i bought at one place last week that still had it stacked in the cooler...

“Robby’s been put on probation – we’ll let everybody know for how long on Tuesday,” NASCAR Vice President of Competition Robin Pemberton said. “This doesn’t give Conway a free pass, either.”

Let's hope the final sentence is followed through by Nascar.
LAS VEGAS -- NASCAR has placed Robby Gordon on indefinite probation after he and Kevin Conway were involved in an altercation in the Sprint Cup garage at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Friday evening.

Series spokesman Kerry Tharp said the rule book allows NASCAR to take emergency action in such situations, and that Gordon would still be allowed to compete. The driver is entered in his No. 7 car this weekend, and will start 38th in Sunday's race.

"His actions were brought to our attention early [Friday] evening," Tharp said Saturday. "We met about it this morning, reviewed the situation, and have reacted accordingly, and will continue to look at this situation."

Conway declined to discuss the matter, but said he filed a police report Friday evening.

"I'm sending you back to NASCAR, or to the Las Vegas police," Conway said. "That's all I can say about right now."

Las Vegas police Officer Barbara Morgan told The Associated Press on Saturday that Conway filed a misdemeanor battery complaint after the quarrel that occurred about 5 p.m.

Morgan said police did not witness the exchange and no arrest was made, and no summons issued. She said police will interview any possible witnesses and turn the investigation over to the Clark County district attorney in Las Vegas for a decision on whether charges will be filed.

Morgan said she did not know how long the process will take.

Conway competed in seven Cup races in 2010 for Gordon and the two are currently involved in lawsuits as a result of that relationship. Conway, who was not placed on probation, was scheduled to start Saturday's Nationwide race in a No. 97 car owned by Joe Nemechek.
