I wouldn't have imagined anybody being given the wheel at Darlington but had to ask.
entry list says fast five on the car
..
Ahhhh... Just stocked up on another 18 cans for $30.... gotta love the 3/$5 deal at Gristedes!
incendiary
So TOG do you think the fan vote is fixed, as others on the Planet have stated or do you think you could put up a link on Main page that would remind Planeteers to vote everytime they logged in easily, for true believers.
11,500xsay 4 x's a day=46,000 x 21 days=966,000. Only if it's fair I vote 4-5 x a day, am I wasting my time?
It is fixed, ask Robby himself.
Robby isnt running the showdown, so it doesnt matter.
What the hell are you on here for besides promoting your uncle's golf tournament? Go home, hater.
Don't you remember what DW did in one of Earnhardts cars before he called it quits? He ran awesome. Put Robby in a top tier car where all he has to do is drive and see what happens. I promise you, he would kill it. Robby has the talent, he just doesn't have the funding and he is spread to thin. Some people think that money isn't the issue, but I think it is pretty obvious.
Yeah, he almost won Pocono. The problem is the money isn't even enough. You have to beat the 48 every week, and if you do, then all you have to do is beat the 11, 18, 99, 16, 29 and if you do you just have to outrun the 7 titles of the 14, 24, and 17. If all of those guys are behind you, you should be right in the thick of things battling for the win. It ain't easy with the green, even. There is a reason that even the 17, 24, 39, 14, 5, 88, 33 and 31 struggle to get wins. Its harder than it ever has been to win a Cup race.
WOW. That says a lot for Robby that you think of him as being on the same level as DW who had 84 (?) Cup wins. DW was part of one of the top funded teams in NASCAR and had a ton of opportunity. He did good as an owner/driver for a while as well until the late 90's when he closed shop and headed to DEI for a while. After that it was all downhill as he jumped in the 35 car owned by Tim Beverley for the last 15 races of the season and only qualified on time TWICE. From then on it was the 66 K-Mart car owned by Travis Carter where he had the hightlight of being in P2 at Indy. Other than that his time with Travis was very uneventful . From that perspective, if he couldn't get a ride with a top tier team, yes, he should have hung it up early to avoid the embarassment of using so many provisionals or missing the race completely.

Should Robby hang it up at age 42 or risk losing respect from his peers???!!! Hell NO! Are you out of your Vulcan Mind?!

RG is running part time this year. He has a new manufacturer and his team is still learning. Patience. As an RG fan there are only 6 races to get really excited about: Daytona (2), Dega (2), WG and Sears Point. Anything else is just gravy.
