after being a fan of RG's for many years, sometimes we get sick of the same old, same old, Im not moving on, but im not happy with a 35th and a non competitive car all weekend....and im sure RG isnt either.

and Sonoma, Ill believe it when i see it, We have learned not to set our own expectations high........Racing is not predicable and anything will happen
You know what I get tired of, fans hanging on to the past. Richmond 03, WG, Montreal, etc. That was a quite awhile ago. If he is going to be competitve on road courses and super speedways, then only run those races with a few others. Put your efforts into something else you are better at. I used to get all rialed up just like yourself at negative press or negative fans toward Robby, but through time you get tired of the same lame effort that is being put out there on the track. Go to the desert and until this year, it has been a totally different story. He is still the one everyone fears.
I don't get it, are you satisfied with a 35th place finish? Are you happy with the way the team is headed? Bro, there are only 2 road courses on the circuit. He HAS to do better throughout the season and not just on road courses. If that is the case, he should just be a "hired gun" to another team and have PJ run his car.
I agree with alot of what you said Matt...but...it's been awhile since Robby has "owned" anybody on a Road Course.....he is top 20 on the Roadies........most teams are bringing much better stuff to the Roadies now........

Everybody looks forward to the "wins" on the road courses when in reality a top 10 is a pretty damn good showing......You think the bitching is bad now.....just wait until he finishes like 8 or 14th on a road course.......
Matty
You are probably one of the smartest people on here . I agree 110% . There are fans then there are TRUE FANS . Living in Buffalo NY I know a thing or 2 about sticking out the bad years for the good 1s ( ie the BUFFALO BILLS ) . If every fan here gave up when they lost we'de never have a team . The people who bitch and complain on here are what i call wagon runners . When Robby does good they hop on the wagon , but the second he doesnt they run . I am a DIEHARD fan of Robby's and have been for many years The reason for that is anyone can root for the Johnsons Buschs and Earnhardts of the sport . I choose to root for the underdog , the guy who REALLY has to put his heart and soul into racing . Sure Jimmie Johnson has won 5 championships in a row , but lets see if he wouldve been so great if he didnt have the best cars $ can buy . Id much rather see some one struggle to win a race and actually EARN IT than have the best of everything and just slide into a win .
Not true. I've been a RG fan since Indy car days. I was there prior to NASCAR, 2000, 2001, the RCR days, and now the days that follow. I'm not sure how you compare that to a "band wagon" fan? I think the way we've run this year (besides Daytona) has been pathetic. If I were a "band wagon" fan, then I would be on JJ's truck....... Being a fan doesn't mean being happy with sucking for nearly 6 years. It means sticking around until the end hoping for greatness....good/bad.... happy/mad.....positive/negative....
Had a great car @ PHX.
RG was second of the Dodge teams. They ALL ran bad, 22, 7 and the 2. Time to start with a new setup for Richmond next time. The car was still in good shape at the end. Close the books on this and move on.
2 out of 3 isn't bad...
Is Robby's equipment really that bad? Got their asses handed to them again. Doesn't make sense.
Simply stated, they missed the set-up.Racing happens, now the guys know what NOT to bring back.In general the televised race was boring,Harvick's hotpass footage was boring ( I watch Harvick's HP to see how Gil Martin adjusts the car for Harvick's complaints ) There where many normally front runners that struggled late night.Moving on.
Every week they find out what NOT to do next time.....I guess they pull from the wrong hat each week, huh??
Was there a race last night? I was wasted. Pub Crawl 3-12. woooooo
