RANDY YOU ARE CORRECT! They run what they are told to run thats the bottom line....I heard it from the body hangar last week.
The 78 over-the-wall pit crew for Furniture Row Racing is employed and trained by Stewart-Haas Racing.
The 78 gets a technical and engineering alliance with Richard Childress Racing. JUST like RGM does with Penske.

The reason the 78 has been running well ------ Joe Garone and the other 60 employee's of Furniture Row Racing... Don't take credit from where credit is due. The fact is... Two single car Teams have won races this year... I can't wait till RGM makes it 3 !!!!!!!!!
ya congrats to Regan and the 78 team. the cool thing is that they are based out of Colorado, way up here in but fuck no where, and last year on nascar.com, they were bad mouthin them and saying that they are stupid to be running a one team shop in Colorado?? That's great news for Single car teams. This is good news for Robby too.
oh ya and I wanted to add that Robby said the car was good besides it bottoming out a bit and being tight, so that's good for the future.
Robby hopefully got some good testing in last night on his way to 72K in prize winnings. Not a bad night doing what you love. On to Dover???
actually, those who followed Robby during the race last night know that RG was very happy with the mechanical changes made to the car & progress was made that they can parlay into the World 600 at Charlotte.
We're always good until its put up or shut up time. I think it's a great idea to get some data during races instead of just parking but I have followed Robby long enough to know that he is always on the positive side of things. Sometimes he's right and they run good and a lot of the time they don't. We'll see.
@Lance,where you with us for chat?Honest ? On the first stop, the long one, they moved ballast, changed wedge, put some packers in,put some scuffs from the 2 on, had a ice cream, the car was better. For a short race it had interest.
going the distance in Charlotte?
Not everything. There is still a lot of fab done in house., and testing. They have a 7 post and a few engineers.
The crew also lost their driver during the 45 lap period, listening to them on the scanner it was funny to hear Pat the spotter searching the garage with binoculars looking for Robby. They finally got adjustments done that had them running behind leader with as fast or faster lap times, that was a good thing , woth the time spent.B uy more SPEED!!
where was Robby; seems strange???
