Yeah, that's all good and might make you feel good but the guy I like to watch race is a fighter, he fights everyday for alot of different reasons but the reason I pull for him is because of the will to wiin... I don't care if he does what it takes to stay in the sport, as long as 2 times a year he shows up to win and proves he belongs in the sport, I will always pull for Robby...Robby is by definition a "Throw Back Driver" earn what you get and make everyone around you do the same....That's racing and what I enjoy watching...It doesn't matter how you butter your bread as long as you have you have your bread buttered.....Robby Gordon is what Nascar was built on, soon, one day the guys that have the say will see this and the the "sport" in Nascar will return..I really believe this, almost as much as I believe in RG........
Robby Gordon has made "bank" on being labeled as a "throw-back" driver. The single and most important item to remember is, the throw-back drivers won races!
Robby Gordon has now turned his race teams into the same category as "front-row" Joe!
If that makes money, well so be it!
I wonder how many people would be willing to purchase tickets to watch the N.Y. Yankee's play baseball, if they Yankee's only played half a game, thus losing all of their games?
Robby's start and park in Dakkar was puzzling? Yes, I know he was DQ'd. However, I do believe that someone at that level knows the rules. He just didn't have the will. You make your own luck, by being prepared.
Start and Park at Dakkar....HUH? He Broke a wheel bearing on his way to a special.....if the car don't roll and you don't have the parts your pretty much SOL. Plus, not like they are racing Dakkar for money, so why would Robby spend all that money to Start and Park at Dakkar...I'mn sorry but that statement just doesn't make sense....
Yes - we fans do a lot to support Robby. I feel like a Speed Energy dealer as much as I have marketed to all my friends, lol!
I do the same thing! Everytime I go into the store to buy more Speed Energy, I make sure all of the labels are facing forward.
Speaking of Front Row Motorsports they're similar to Furniture Row and RGM in that they sponsor themselves, right? Isn't the Front Row Motorsports the owner of Taco Bell & Long John Silver's? I thought the biggest difference was that RGM's owner also drives the car (usually)!
Bob Jenkins owns a couple of franchises but doesn't own Taco Bell & Long John Silvers. He pretty much just gets to put their name on the car. He doesn't really get much sponsorship money from it.
if couple means 100+ franchise's(stores) that is how Mr.Jenkins is siphoning funds to fund his two active teams.Mr Jenkins has the rights to advertise Taco Bell and Long John Silvers on the cars becouse of his fanchise's.
Personally I don't think one of Mr Jenkin's first passions is auto racing.
I stand corrected then. An article I read about him must have been biased lol, because it didn't make him out to be anyone important. He seems like quite the businessman
@Kevin, We ( Planeteer's) discussed Mr.Jenkins a year ago as memory serves. When Conman stiff'd him on funding.I would agree that it appears he is successful in the fast food business, I'm not sure he's got his hands around the 'racing' business yet.
He's got his hands around a Beefy Burrito!
@MikeKenyon ahh well thanks for clarifying for me Mike!
