Join in here and discuss all the weekend action for the 2011 Charlotte cup race. RGM will run 2 cars at Charlotte, the #7 for Robby Gordon & the #77 for Scott Wimmer. Here is the weekend schedule for RGM at the North Carolina track.

I thought Penske was suppose to be helping out Robby? Penske cars are top of the heep in practice RG's at the bottom.

Robby's not running a Penske car. The setup info wont directly translate to Robby's inhouse chassis.

not a big alliance.. they just provide engines as far as i know. on an occasion RGM has gotten other help from them (I think they hung a body once).. Other than that........ that's it.. They are not a big Technical alliance.. RGM makes thier own chasis

Hopefully they're just working on the handling & set up and not concerened about laying down fast laps. 39th out of 43 cars.

Still have another practice to go...

Robby started having trouble last season in all his racing endeavors. If he doesn't have the money to make at least one of them successful, maybe he should rethink what he's doing. I have the utmost respect for the man and have been a fan since the time he drove for Davey at Dega years ago, but really, this is getting to be an embarrassment. When one of the best drivers in racing is ranking right there with the shoestring teams, then surely something should change. jmo

Should get the handling and then go out and blow up the motor and get one with some power.
