Except the Hummer is unrestricted (Robby said 600ish HP) for the 500!
I'm willing to bet they checked or replaced all the wheel bearings.
Are your sure????
Robby said he wasn't carrying spare parts. he had what he had so if he has a chaser, he'll be smarter than the last one he had in dakar! The bearing broke, so that freak part breaking shouldnt' break for some time to come so if he has some bad luck this year at baja, it's going to be another unplanned part failure that hasn't happened yet?
I don 't care if the car runs a full race at Kansas, just don't want any body damage. So we need whoever is driving to be careful of the fenders. Points are nice, but the money is sweeter when the car is brought back to the shop after the race in one piece.
Wow. Are there any race fans on this site? You care more that the car comes back in one piece over a solid finish? When did a straight car mean more than a solid finish? Racing = many variables (including wrecking and blowing up). If you can't handle the variables then don't race.
Plenty of race fans, but a bunch also know the situation & know that sometimes the storm has to be weathered. Robby is running the Baja 500 this weekend. He is racing...
forgive the dummy question - is RG running both the 500 and Kansas this weekend?
RG's next race is Michigan.
what is TOG's twiter page?
Johnny Sauter will drive the #7 this weekend at Kansas.
