According to a member of a Truck team who asked not to be identified, Childress took off his jewelry before approaching Busch in the garage area and struck him with his fist. The two were separated, traded insults and then Childress grabbed Busch in a headlock and struck him again before the incident was broken up.

The crew member said Childress initiated the incident.

Good for the old man, but I really wonder if he'll get the same penalty Robby got.

he should get a reward.
You have a point there!
HERE HERE!
Does Kyle Busch take off his jewelry before hitting someone with his car/truck?
At least Mr. Chidress had the foresite to make sure KB did didn't recieve any injuries from his watch and/or ring.
He just takes off his Makeup......
I here kyle started this with running into the RCR truck on pit road after the race. Kyle is already on probation. Going to be interesting to see if Nascar handles this by there rules are just another joke. My bet is they doing nothing to Kyle and put RCR on probation, which is a joke.
I'm no kb fan but if someone takes off their jewelry and jersey and comes my way looking for retribution I am going to kick some ass. That's self defense and I would expect no penalty. It will be nteresting to see what was said to incite the second beating as that may be punishable on Bush's side. Otherwise while I love kb geting beat down he can't be held accountable in my opinion.
lol - self defence. Sounds like Kyle wussied up and got whipped.
by Grandpa,
Methinks you were right.
Whew! Good thing it wasn't Robby giving someone a "beat down". NASCAR would have banned Robby for life!
People of privilege can get away with most anything.
I agree...be interesting to see what penalty he gets if any. Don't get me wrong I like Richard...but at the least he should get the same penalty as Robby
