2011 Baja 500 Race Discussion

Join in & discuss all the action for the 2011 Baja 500 on Saturday, June 4th. Robby Gordon will drive the #77 SPEED Energy / TOYO TIRES HUMMER. The 4 wheel class is slated to begin at 1:00pm/et ( 10:00 am local time ) & Robby Gordon starts 26th. Does the Hummer have an in-car camera? I am wondering if there will be the customary video of the first 10 minutes off the start.

if you google baja 500 their is the first 5 minutes of last years race from robby's car

Looks like RG got bumped for some reason down to 8th place finish Officially. Tim Herbst got bumped down too. Anybody know why?

Shows a 10 minute 30 second penalty for the 0x bike too.

EVERYONE REMEBER WHEN ROBBY BROKE AT DAKAR IN THE JIM BEAM HUMMER, HE DROVE THE HUMMER TO PARKER FROM ANAHEIM, WON THE RACE ON A TANK OF PUMP GAS, THAT WAS CLASSIC

We were pitting at midway that race. Rob hung out for two hours after he won and shot the s--- with everyone. Real nice to the kids that were hanging. Great for all involved. Glad you brought this up.

maybe SCORE is getting like NASCAR. Didn't like donut in the middle of the course. Penalty!
