The 21 isn't running Pocono either, correct?
No 21 at Pocono, be helpful if the 71 and/or 38 miss the show (Sam Hornish will race the 38 car)
Saw that about Hornish. Too bad for RGM as he actually runs decent there. Surprised he's in a Ford, unless he no longer has any ties to Penske?
RG needs to just hang tough at the 35 mark, and get as many pts he can at Sonoma and Daytona, a couple top 10's could really go a long way the rest of the summer keeping him locked in.
RGM needs 10 owners points @ Pocono, good to go for the next two starts, 21 not going to Sonoma.
The 38 is only-13 behind. Sam's best finishes ever were at Pocono. 38 could pass us.
10,4,11,11 from 2009-2010 (finishing position).

Let's hope he has a slideways moment!
But, Sam will be in FRM equipment, which hasn't set the world on fire.
true.. but it is Rousch derivative stuff and Kvapil finished a respectable 22nd and 29th in the 38 last year there...
We need a big week at Michigan and Infineon...we can't continue to be in the top 35 by a start and park.
@Lance, at this point, it's attempts that make the difference in case of a rain out.Micigan and Sears are full races. The 21 won't be at Pocono or Sears. On to July.
The only races IMO RGM needs to be locked in for are Daytona & Dega. The rest are not as big an issue. Dodge has good power, just need to figure the setup out to allow the car to use that power. The 21 won't be at Sonoma, but if th e 38 gets good results at Pocono they could be a factor of keeping RGM outside the Top 35 at Daytona.
