A finish of 20th or better would move RGM into the Top 35 and locked in at Daytona, as long as RGM finishes ahead of the 71 and 38.

Being locked in next week was big. RG can qualify on speed, but there's always a possibility of something happening that could cause havoc. I know in the past when RGM was outside the Top 35 he had to be conservative in qualifying. If there's a race RG can win, this is one of them. Hopefully it's a great week and lots of exposure for SPEED.

RG can shoot for the poll now, leave it all out there qualifying. Not locked in you need to be smart.

As great as Robby is on road courses, he needs to get a top 5 qualifying spot. He can't afford to get caught up in mid pack scuffles, and even if Robby doesn't make a mistake, there's a good chance someone else would and ruin Robby's day.

pit strategy is key, and it has bitten Robby in the ass in the past.

Robby kinda likes to shoot himself in the foot now and again,so sonoma is not a "sure thing" by anymeans, race wise

imo those "sure thing" days have passed... everyone else knows you can't throw any races out anymore and have put alot of time and money into the rc tracks..... yes the 7 can run up front, just hope they don't put all their eggs in one basket and freak out when things don't go as planned..... hard to win when there's so much pressure on for one particular race... my 2 cents

Top 5 would be a win IMO. RG can get it done. Penske motors can get it done. Not sure with Miles on the box, but we will see
