Jason do you remember my two big ass "7" signs I would bring to Fontana? We had the same issues. We were told not to bring them back to the Speed shows as they were a distraction. At one point they tried to kick us out and were not able too. (Throw a few legal terms and they backed down) But were told unless we set the signs on the ground we will have to stay in the back. It was said we were blocking the view (We probably were, but we were getting the #7 out there!) Our signs were so big that even in the back you could see them on TV. I think a few times they would do what they could to cut them out of the background when possible by using different camera angles.

Same thing at our camp. Fontana made a rule that come race time flag poles could not be more then a few feet over the top of the RV's do to TV and fans seeing the back stretch. So I took a 4 foot tall florescent orange #7 and put it on top of the RV with rope light around it and a halogen light shining on it. We were told you could see it from the grandstands. A few hours into the race a guy came to our camp and asked us to turn the light off on the #7 as the TV network was asking. So we turned the halogen light off, but kept the rope light on. The rope light was not bright enough to see from the grandstands.

i would say brakes and forward bite are the issues to work out today. I don't care about starting 28...the team will now need to be flexible on strategy. no reason not to go with 3 stops today. just give the carb a little tweak for a few more ponys and go get 'em fella's.
