Just for fun, what do you as the fans think about RGM's 2009 plans. Several scenarios have been presented, and it's no secret now after the GEM suit that Robby will sell or merge his team.

So what do you think?

#2 - Robby merges with Penske driving the #7 Jim Beam Dodge in 2009

#3 - Robby merges with Yates driving the #7 Jim Beam Ford in 2009

#4 - Robby stays and drives again for RGM in 2009 with engines from Penkse

#5 - Robby hires Riggs and has a 2-car team in 2009 with engines from Penske

#6 - Robby pulls off a winter deal and merges with MWR for 2009 with Toyota

#7 - Robby merges with Ganassi for 2009

I wonder how his off road sponsor Monster would feel about that?
You mean the one that replaced his old off road sponsor called Red Bull?
Merges with BAM racing for a super mega team, schrader and robby, factory support from kia, 2009 jim beam optima.
I will take any of the above if it means that Robby will win. I think the best bets would be 1,2 and 3. But unfortunately it probably will be # 10. I hope he will make the correct decision.
IMO 2 would be a good move for RG. He would be able to continue chasing his dream of winning at Indy, and it may help in retaining Jim Beam and/or getting them to pony up for more races as they already sponsor Penske's Indycar teams. Plus you know Roger wont be satisfied not having a driver in the chase and he will be much better next year, he was among the first teams to have a team strictly for r&d purposes this year with stremme. The only down side i see is with Monster, An. Busch distributes Monster in US, roger is sponsored by Miller brewing co, could be a conflict
Actually it's kinda screwy how monster is distributed. Miller DOES some of Monster's distrib up here too. Monster stocks the reg stores, A-B does the bars,& Miller does the liquor stores. Odd I know, I can't make heads or tails of it either.
#11 Robby keeps his team as is and gets Yates Power.
I think this is by far the closest to reality.
ding,ding,ding! We have a winner !!
So basically we are all in agreement that RGM will look exactly like it did in 2007.

1 car team using Roush/Yates power with Jim Beam and Menard as his two main sponsors. Yep looks just like 2007!
except for the blue oval on the front.
#12 - Merge with Yates like he should have before but this time with Paul and Papa Johns money to form Yates/Gordon/Menards or whatever variant of that they choose. Bury the hatchet with Rousch. The team stays right next door to Jack's house. Robby sells his current location to the highest bidder (GEM??) and makes big cash off the whole deal. He has long term racing committment and career after driving, Yates power while he is still driving, and chassis help from the Rouschkateers! Amen, brother!!!
