A lot of torn up race cars and little to show for it.
And RG wasn't one of them, so there IS a positive to tonight.
yippeeeeeee
Thank god he didn't have a top ten finish with some torn up sheet metal like JPM and AJA!
ok thanks tog, my bad
RANDOM THOUGHTS

I had flashbacks to my high school prom when all the good looking girls were taken and I had to ask my sister's friend so I wouldn't be stuck at home. That's what happened to Robby - all the good looking drivers were taken and we were stuck with the old man.

The long green flag runs just killed any chances for a top 15. A caution before he and Bodine went a lap down would have been huge.

Having said all that, Rob could have very well ended up with a torn up race car had he been near the mess at the end, so leaving with the car intact is not to be taken lightly.

I too thought Rob's engine had blown at the end.

Throw in the penalties and then the green-white checkers in a race that he wasn't supposed to run and it adds up to a weird night in daytona.

But it was fun not knowing until the end if he was going the distance and I am glad to see that people here are appreciative of him competing and as a result, aren't making the usual "sky is falling" posts.
Well it's past midnight, all the alchohol has been consumed, time to go down to the basement in my underwear and vent a little on the keyboard.
Home Boner: You are a idiot. Drivers made the decision who they are going to "dance" with way before tonight and since this was an audible you should know its not that easy to find somebody. Second he can't just pull money out of the sky to run the 77 a full race anytime he wants. Maybe I'm wrong but I'm 98% sure I'm not.
Haha leave the site. Your just a hater. No room for you.
ok bone, carry on.....we're listening........just a little
"No serious car will run with him. Think about that. He has been running since the mid-90's and NO SERIOUS DRIVER will run with him?!?!"

And yet your here. Why?
Sorry bone, I edited this before I knew. Sorry for the assumption
