@WJM,Who's Jack Welch?what did he race?
Googled it-
“Control your own destiny or someone else will.”
“If you don't have a competitive advantage, don't compete.”
“Change before you have to.”
"Face reality as it is, not as it was or as you wish it to be"
“If change is happening on the outside faster than on the inside the end is in sight.”
and
“If you pick the right people and give them the opportunity to spread their wings and put compensation as a carrier behind it you almost don't have to manage them.”

Got it.
Or could it be there are too few employees doing too many jobs ? Being one person and doing the work of two or three can cause problems. Multi tasking isn't as easy as some might think.
Zoom, but there is so much you dont see from Alabama.....
I know you like Miles. I'm sure there's a ton none of us see. As a long time fan & supporter, you know I've stated from the first time I heard Miles calling the shots I didn't think he was experienced enough for the Cup level. I've been a head coach in sports before and your responsible for your team & knowing the rules.  It shouldn't matter what some "official" said. If you know the rule, like Patrick did, you wouldn't even have to ask. I'm sure Robby & Miles will talk about it and move on. It was just an opinion, but what do I know I'm just from Alabama.
it has nothing to do with liking or disliking. Just stating that there are plenty of things you dont see, so given the circumstances of the schedule this year, dont be so quick to throw him under the bus.
I suspect that Miles is a smart guy willing to do the job for which he is assigned and do so for the budget available. He's a young guy getting experience....happens everywhere.
That's fair. I hope he surprises me
Maybe the surprise is that he's willing to go way out of his comfort zone and take on a high-profile role that he's not quite ready for because that's what the team needs him to do right now.
