NA$CAR Teams to test fuel injection at Kentucky

And people complain about "cheaters" now. Just wait....computer hackers will have a new area to work in. What ever happened to NA$CARS "keep the costs down" ?

What next ? one lug wheels, paddle shifters on the steering wheel. You will find me at the local dirt track, this stuff is gitting ridiculous.

@Mike, if you want that to happen you better talk to Robby about getting the 7 in victory lane. We will then see if there really is this conspiracy that some keep on bringing up.

O boy, the conspiracy theorists are out in force again.

Lets not forget how much air time Robby got the first couple years he had his new team. Sure, he missed races, but he got a large amount of time for somebody who either didnt qualify or blew his engine for nearly every race.

Fast forward to year 2, Robby had moderate success... guess what happened? He was the golden boy for the single car teams. Although he was not talked about as much as a top 10 team, he was consistently on TV during the races.

Fast forward to today, S&P, struggles at road cources, struggling to stay in the top 35, and hes usually about the slowest in qualifying... and lets not forget an angry Robby could bring a S bomb at any time.

bottom line... results equal airtime.

Ive ehard this argument about Robby so many times before... but when he does good and gets coverage the conspiracy theorists best answer is "ya, its just temporary". haha

The race on Sunday buy on Monday works on the car model not what the engine looks like. Most people have no clue if you showed the carb engine side by side next to the FI engine. Last night on the HUB it was said by a NA$CAR mouth piece that NA$CAR had to keep up with the mfgr's. so everything looked like a stock engine. I ask the question how much of the cup engine is "stock".

All this going "green" with the fuel and FI smells of Gov. rebait and tax breaks.............is NA$CAR sharing any of this with the teams....no just making them spend more money. When the dust settles the only thing FI will do is get better fuel milage HP will be the same and no more flame of unburnt fuel at the exhaust. Oh ya it was also said the system can be monitored by NA$CAR to find out who has an advantage and level the playing field.

Sounds like NA$CAR's brown shirts will be busy next year. All and all my sources say the system can be fooled it's being done as we speak.

Pick up your BOLT ON set up at the NAZICAR table on your way in to the garage boys. Remember when NAZICAR tried the fan ride along races, that never worked out but i'm sure putting a fuel injection system controlled by a "chip" into the hands of budgets like Hendrick will. And will not have an advantage of one team over the other based on coin and numbers of brain power. I like carbs myself, the lawnmower is "hunting" and I have to pull it apart to see what carnage aunt Ethee has done. My neighbor says just buy a new one and i'm like a new carb are you crazy I fixed the last carb dio with a piece of scotch tape and some talc powder. And he says no...................a new lawn mower. send donations

in 1994 i took a collage class (well damn my shop burned down and i needed a good place with the equipment to build a new engine) the school was racing a showroom stock car in SCCA and a local dealer gave us a new car off the lot to race and after i welded in the new roll cage we went to race on pre race inspection we were failed?? we had the wrong ECU chip in the car
we protested that the ECU was the same one that came from the factory but they said car was out till we installed the stock chip
after we got back to the school shop we were called by one of the other racers and told that everyone had installed a chip desinated for cars shipped to austraila and everyone had installed the chip before the SCCA could use the computer to theck them so the computer only reconised the modfied chip as the right one

NOW DO YOU THINK NASCAR IS REALLY ANY SMARTER?????? REALLY??
