2011 BULLRUN Race Discussion

This will be the race thread for the 2011 BULLRUN that Robby Gordon will compete in. This year’s rally takes place from July 9th- July 15th, starting in Las Vegas & ending in Miami. Each day will have a different route & the competitors will get their daily route info prior to the start of each day. Stay tuned for more info as it comes in.

Confetti is WAY more effective than baby powder since the little pieces rattle around in the air ducts for quite some time. Took a couple months for the guy to have all the random pieces stop shooting out of his ductwork...

if they are going on I-20 tell Robby to be careful-super speeder law and cops in black SUVs all down 20 from Atlanta to Augusta!!

@TOG... Have you had a chance to speak with Rob about his connections he is making during this run? Seems like he is getting to mingle with some movers and shakers! I hope it is going well for him business wise on this adventure also! Would love to see some of these connections let him branch out a little more and do some sponsorships of some other drivers in other high end motorsports. Would love to see a Daytona Prototype in the SPEED colors!

@Rob, IMO you've seen two important connections and.as gimmicky as the Bullrun event is, important things to RGM/OR from this event.TOYO tires (a global manufacturer) requesting Robby do this and then have the CEO of TOYO US.ride along.And Jeep pimping Robby on their site.
Why venture into another racing series ( that doesn't pay well) when both of these companys are big in off road racing,something Robby and RGOR does well (maybe the best)at.

Read article that was with pic, that was a brand new karting track, not even open to public for another 4 weeks, but asked 2 weeks ago for bullrun, enough of safety stuff was in place, so it was a go.
