Am I the only one who hates it when they refer to Robby as " NASCAR's Robby Gordon ? I mean we all know it's offroad racing where Robby is king not NASCAR
what ever it takes to draw attention.The old say'n,I don't care if they're talk'n good about me or bad about me,as long as they're talk'n about me!No such thing as bad publicity.
@mj, girls get pub. becouse they're 'girls'.Canadian's becouse they're Canadian's?! So,what ever it takes.IMO
Yeah but lumping Robby in with NASCRAP is like lumping a fat chick in with hooters girls they may both have big hooters but I'll take the hooters girls everytime lmao
I hear ya MJ, but when were sitting around 35th in points, what's that line about begger's and not being choosey LOL-as long as they get it out there, and buy a case of Speed of course!!
no, but like Mike said it draws attention to your name, it's all about the branding, if your a marketing business that likes to race, then NASCAR's a good way to bring attention.
Its just name recognition. People who dont follow racing know what NASCAR is. I'm sure if I ask the girls here at work what SCORE, SNORE, TORC, LOORS, USAC, ASO and other bodies of racing, they would have no idea. But like it or not, they all know what NASCAR is.
Nascar pays the bills, you do not see him S &P at off road events. I understand what you are saying but the way you could also look at that is that when RG competes in other racing series that being refered to as "Nascar driver Robby Gordon" brings prestige to that event...just a thought.
everybody knows what NASCAR is and how there are only so many drivers in NASCAR so it is a privilege to be associated with it.i am proud Robby races in NASCAR.
You know there are more important things to get upset about, IMO this isn't one of them. There are people out there who have never heard about off road racing, if seeing that "Nascar's Robby Gordon" is part of it, it just might make them curious enough to check it out.
Why sweat the little things when you don't have to ?
Agree, there are plenty of other things to get worked up over. Besides the " 's" is the possessive form of the word and everyone knows that Nascar could never own Robby.
