Rob's gonna have to turn it up in quals now... But, we all know thats not a strong point.
agree'd not a strong point, but than again,RGM hasn't really needed to show up in all Q trim.Friday, first practice we'll know the plan.So the question is,do you roll the dice at Pocono or go all in for the 11 points. Or take your lumps at Pocono, go to the Glen make a safe lap to make the show?Interesting two weeks.
Better hope for rain next week, the way his cars have performed he might have a better shot in a soap box derby. Building engines is a core competency.
Maybe RGM didn't build the engines, just owns them?
I think we will see a more aggressive Robby, coming into Pocono....IMO. That being said, Robby can make a car do things...it never wanted to do.....lol
Everybody knows that Robby doesn't qualify well normally so turning it up might make it worse. I think just finding speed and running practice laps to find a setup. I'm sure 77 will be there, so it should be a point to get it in the show with some speed too and run it hoping to have both the 7 and 77 finish in front of the 71. Main thing is just putting down a solid qualifying run in and not trying to do too much.
I don't know about the 77 showing up there. If the 77 shows up it could bump the 7.
Yep, I'd look for just the 7
I actually didn't think of that, guess that's true since Robby's no longer locked in anymore
a big positive this year has been no wrecked cars. Correct me if there was a wrecked one. That's a huge bonus.
I don't think he's raced enough or gone fast enough to wreck a car, after the Daytona 500 where he ran well the rest of the season has been a let down.
ha ha well played mauer. But still it's not hard to wreck a car. It still means something
