Never play scared. But only 44 cars tried to make the first Pocono race perhaps only 43 this time around...........hell we'll make it no worries.
I wasn't paying attention,but I believe TOG said 45or 46 cars for Pocono 2 , we'll know for sure tomorrow.
Probably 46, FRM will be running 4 cars the rest of the year.
Its sad to see Robby get out run by Andy Lally and a few other turds. This year has been a let down.
Robby wasn't getting out ran by Lally yesterday.
Do you recall, before the season started Robby declared a partial schedule?! Yet the 7 car has been at all the races.
To be in the situation to compete for the Top 35 with only running some full races just shows you how many teams have been impacted by the economy.
if he makes the race.... is this a full game one race to the finish or start and park
good question,hint-look for the number of tires behing the wall on Sunday
That's deceiving. Look for the stickers on the wheels. At Richmond 2 last season I was in the pits and thought they'd called and audible until I saw RCR stickers on all the wheels.
If he makes the race (when he makes it) at Pocono he's going to have his work cut out to make up ten points on the # 71. He'd have to have a top 20 and the # 71 have a bad day. Might be outside for a few weeks.
Also, its just extra work for the team because they have to worry about qualifying set ups and race set ups now and to be honest they haven't got the later right yet this season....
If he's not running full races then that's the end of the top 35 I guess.
I think they are bring junk to the track. You have cars that aren't even in the top 38 in time on the track. Robby needs to spend a little money and get some good engineers. Look at Daytona in July he was in the back the whole time. He never runs that bad at a plate track.
@mod47, would you define your meaning of 'junk'?
