Robby's not the first or last to be con'd (think president)
Hope & Change ? You mean theres no hope & Change ! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH
Your federal taxes are lower than they were 3 yrs ago.
Yes,Alan my income is lower than 3 years ago.Hence lower federal taxs.
For Robby, and the fans that made the effort to attend, this has really got to suck even more than a S&P race.
Even though this hasn't gone as expected, I have had an enjoyable weekend and will have a nice drive home tomorrow through beautiful country. Lemons can be turned into lemonade. Plus I got a hug from RG. So it doesn't totally "suck".
MTwomn, good for you and with a positive outlook comes a nice Weekend.....
@MT, if you race home, the Fall classic is tomorrow at Yakima.32 Late Models on hand (dig on Mi7)
Yakima????

I was born in Yakima and raised in Selah.
Imagine that.
One of the great features of this site is its bottomless pit of hindsight.
Two things:

1) RG seemed to handle it well, I'm actually pretty impressed with his composure, etc. Something about the measure of a man when times are good vs. hard times comes to mind.

2) Mi7 Events site is "down for maintenance"

Interesting. I'm sure this business will declare BK, fold and then the same greasy schucks will start a new company.

ah well - things could be worse.
So now it seems the few valid points that many people brought up weeks prior to the event ( entry list, purse payout, lack of communication with event promoters, etc ) were not so off base after all.
