How does a Start and Park team make money?

How does a Start and Park team make money? I have been reading up and everything and I was wondering how a team makes money in this high end of a sport start and parking. Reason why I am asking is I just wonder how. I know tires cost alot and engines (and I remember reading somewhere that robbys using old dodge motors) Also with cars being so expensive to build and so many employees at RGM, how does someone make money??

Well, let's see. First the earth cooled. And then the dinosaurs came, but they got too big and fat, so they all died and they turned into oil. And then the Arabs came and they bought Mercedes Benzes. And Prince Charles started wearing all of Lady Di's clothes. I couldn't believe it....
