Robby Gordon Monster Energy driving suit / Rick Huseman Memorial fund donation

I called RG and asked if he could help with a donation toward the Rick Huseman Memorial fund.. here is what we came up with.. Bid, Bid, Bid.. this will go to benefit Rick's wife and son, Ricky Jr.. and who would not want to add this to their personal collection.

That is awesome that Robby would donate a driving suit to the Huseman auction. On Robby's twitter he also said he had donated one of his past Indy car helmets for the Dan Weldon Auction. I have yet to see it listed on the Auction website. Both are great memorial funds with all the money going to the family's.

As of 8:30pm the drivers suit bid is at $1,500 and we still have 6 day 19 hours left.!

Also RG's helmet is now up on the Dan Wheldon Ebay auction and it is currently up to $3,950 with 6 days 21 hours left. JJ's helmet is up to $20,000!

Awesome.. its so sad the loss of life the racing world has had in the couple weeks.. But it blows my mind to see so many people rally behind these tragic events.. I only hope these auctions help relieve some financial hardship for the families left behind. WISH I HAD MORE MONEY TOO, I would add to my collection with items like these up..

Well done Nick, and RG! Just a little FYI here for those who might not trully understand. At 1500.00, currently, the RG driver suit price. This is just about what we pay for the high end three layer,embroidered, fitted drivers suits we wear while in cars....I hope this suit gets at least triple the current price as it rightfully deserves.
However like Nick stated, I WISH I HAD MORE MONEY TOO! Good luck to all!

With 6 days left on both auctions my guess is the suit will go for around $4500 and the Helmet might go as high as $8000.
