From Martinsville site:

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series practice for the TUMS Fast Relief 500 on Friday has been postponed at Martinsville Speedway. Practice is now scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on Saturday prior to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series qualifying.

Truck Series qualifying is scheduled for 10:40 a.m. followed by Sprint Cup time trials at 12:10 p.m.

Fan gates will open at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

8:30 a.m.: Fan gates open
8:30 a.m.: NASCAR Sprint Cup practice, 90 minutes
10:40 a.m.: NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Kroger 200 qualifying
12:10 p.m.: NASCAR Sprint Cup Series TUMS Fast Relief 500 qualifying
1:30 p.m.: Driver introduction for Kroger 200
2:00 p.m.: Kroger 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race

The revised schedule now includes a 90-minute Saturday morning final practice for Cup, beginning at 8:30 a.m. ET. Truck and Cup qualifying, plus the Truck Series Kroger 200 will follow, weather permitting.

Thats Nascars quote sooo, i hope they are right!

I'd like to talk Truck racing. The Truck series did get a practice session in. Young Tyler Tanner from Auburn Wa. may make his first start. Practiced 34th quick in that practice session.If Qualifying is rain out,34th will make the show. The forecast for rain tomorrow hasn't changed http://www.weather.com/weather/today/USVA0470
I attended a fund raiser for Tyler acouple of weeks ago.Tyler is driving a Mittler Bros (http://www.mittlerbros.com/) Ford and crew chiefed by Paul Andrews (#7 Alan Kulwicki's C/C )

I take it since they got in a truck practice, they would go off that then if quals are rained out? (hate all the new rules, supposed to simplify things right... NOT) No practice at all is owners points, right? Got to give it to Mittler Bros, continuing to give folk their first starts. Good luck, will actually watch the race, no KB in the show. :)

I just looked at weather again...... LOL! they are freezing back there! rain and snow in forecast thru noon. I guess if it can happen at Bristol, why not Martinsville.

Qualifying has been cancelled, field set by owner points. Reed will start 37th.

Tyler makes the race on time.He needed to make the race and needs to have a clean day. Tyler has only been approved by Nascar to run short tracks.If he doesn't tear up the truck,on to Phoenix.The goal is to get his intermediate track approval by seasons end.
