Nice to see RGM with 2 entries. Good Luck Guys
Woohoo on the 2 cars!
That's a nice "treat" for Halloweeen. Hopefully RGM can give Texas a double dose of Speed, qualify both cars, run a couple of laps, take the prize money and stick it up TMS A$$. That's what you get for dissing Speed Energy last spring!
going to be tough for the 77 - hope they still come with 2 cars and give it their best.
Here's hoping that RG gets both vehicles into the show and then jumps into the 7 and runs a full race to keep in front of the 21 in the points standings. RG needs to stay in 37th place so that he will be in the top 35 for Daytona next year. Several top 35 teams will be falling out of the top 35 when they aren't running next season. I am assuming that MWR will buy somebodies points for Clint's new car--(#15) and Tony will be buying somebodies points for Danica's cup ride. They are planning on running her at Daytona and I doubt they will take the chance of her racing her way in. Just a thought---any help out there? Am I way out in left field?
Being higher in the points is always better, and I can think of 4 potential teams going away. Roush, RCR, & 2 RB. No way does Roush & RCR just let those points drop away without getting something for them...
Cup will loose 4 teams, but gain 2. The RBR #83 and #4 will likely close shop (unless a late investor steps in like RPM found last year). The #33 team with RCR and #6 team with Roush will not run full schedules next season. Both will likely run partial schedules, both will likely have a car in the Daytona 500. (Roush could use the #6 team points on the #21).

Being added in 2012 will be the #15 of Clint Bowyer with MWR and #? of Danica Patrick with SHR. Tony can use a Champions Provisional if needed to allow Danica's car security the first 5 races. Clint Bowyer will likely get the points from the #83 or #4 team (being Toyota).
The 6 points will go to the 21. Roush doesn't have sponsors for the 17, but has committed to running him the full year - don't expect them to field a 4th team to start 2012.

Assuming nothing happens with team Redbull, it's likely their owner points will end up with Bowyer. and Mikey for his traditional running Daytona.

You can bank on Robby having to race into all his sprint cup starts in 2012.
If Needsacheck can do it.......................I shouldn't say that, he's the smartest guy racing right now. Envy of all S&P teams.
