Robby Gordon Monster Energy driving suit / Rick Huseman Memorial fund donation

I called RG and asked if he could help with a donation toward the Rick Huseman Memorial fund.. here is what we came up with.. Bid, Bid, Bid.. this will go to benefit Rick's wife and son, Ricky Jr.. and who would not want to add this to their personal collection.

NIkal, don't forget thats when Bill left Simpson after the Earnhardt controversy. A lot of teams switched to Sparco in 2001.

Last I saw it was still at $6,000, but there were still several hours left in the auction at the time. My guess is it went for $6,000 or a couple hundred more. But a lot less then Jimmie's and a lot, lot less then the Red Bull helmet.

I found the link to RG's helmet. It sold for $8,100! That is much more then when I saw it last, and thought it was going to go for.

I tried finding the helmet also through the memorial fund link and I never could find it either! Hard to believe that thing is 10 years old as it still looks new. Great to see the amount of money it earned though as with everything else that is going to help Dan's family!
