Since the #21 isn't entered this week it looks like RGM will retain the coveted 37th place in the owners points standings. Did I hear that there would be potential of two top 35 teams folding over the course of the winter??

The #6, #33 and both Red Bull's # 4 and #84 are not expected to race next year. Roush has said the #6 might run a part time schedule, so I would expect to see it run the first few races as well as RCR's #33 owners points. I would also expect to see RB's owners points to be transferred to other teams. (MWR has been known to buy owners points and RB is a Toyota team). So the chance of RGM being bumped into the top 35 is slim to none.

I can see Stewart/ Haas buying some point team for Danicas ride.

I was under the impression that a team can't move up even if other teams fold.

2010 #77 owners points go to #77 team owned by Rusty Wallace
when the #77 team doesn't attempt a race in the first five, the #38 team moves in to the top 35 for races 2 thru 5

I wonder how many competitive teams we will see come Feburary? Only those with deep pockets will make the race in my opinion because we will have EFI and a new aero package which will cost money to implement successfully.

Too early to ask who will qualify and park the 7 this week? Robby's name is here but no reason for him to come all the way to south Florida if he's celebrating a victory in Ensenada. I'll still be at the track - pulling for whoever is behind the wheel for a short while.

Jayski has Reed in the #7 this weekend

I know Jayski is not 100% credible on the Planet, but Nascar.com has Reed in the #7 AND the #21 entered as well. Could be interesting in terms of the 37th place in owner's points if the 21 is in fact running. Only 6 points separate the 7 and 21.

that is correct...#21 is racing
& RG in Baja = Reed at Homestead

Add the #93 of Grant Efinger......48 total cars..

48 entries. Biggest field since Kentucky.
