If Burton don't come thru next year he will be out. Depending on if Austin is ready for cup RCR will need someone to fill that spot. I don't see Kurt getting a quality ride in 2012 but who knows could end up in the 20 car if slice bread don't win soon.

RCR and Kevin Harvick with Kurt Busch? Ain't no way. RG will take over the 24 before that scenario happens. As for the 20, Gibbs can't control the Busch is has now, and some of you guys are forgetting that Kurt and Kyle barely speak. I don't know where Kurt ends up, but it won't be RCR or Gibbs.

The reason why Hornish is doing NW full time is because he wasn't ready for Cup, so why would Roger put him in the #22 now?

imo the one who deserves a shot is Reed Sorenson, I hope he gets some consideration. He's a good young driver who doesn't seem to lose his temper when things go wrong.

Vickers is a dangerous idiot and the two Davids have shown some potential but that's all they were. potential.

Again, Robby will not be the #2 driver for Dodge....period. Dodge is not going to put that focus on a part time team. There focus will be on promoting Penske first, whoever the driver is.

Funny how so many think that all it takes for Robby to get more support is the demise of others. Try this on, Robby needs to step up and earn that support. In NASCAR the past 2 years, he has done nothing to gain support.

http://www.speedtv.com/video/speed-center/speed-center-exclusive-ku... Exclusive Interview by Kurt Busch on NASCAR Race Hub regarding him leaving Penske.

Speed Center rather.

Kurt did make a comment I found interesting in one of his interviews. "Dodge promised to really step up their game, but this past year we were either hot or cold depending on the tracks we raced at. I felt like we were behind with Dodge at certain tracks. It's frustrating knowing you don't have a car capable to compete at certain type tracks."

Interviews today are not worth listening to, not much truth in this one.

Heres whats going to happen, Kurt will either:

1. End up in the 20. If Joey can somehow contractually be removed from that car, Gibbs would be a moron for not putting Kurt in, that is, if HD would want him. A proven winner and champion is a heck of a lot better the Joey.

2. Buy Red Bull, with Hendrick cars, like Stewart Haas, If this happens, it would seem like a short notice to get Hendrick cars in the shop, so 2012 would be a throw away year, with the goal of 2013 being full Hendrick support. Theres no way Busch would take a half azzed ride like the 71, it just isnt going to happen.

If Kurt Busch joins Kyle Busch and Joe Gibbs Racing, I will personally buy lunch for everyone on this board. Gibbs already has one knucklehead who was almost fired by a sponsor; why in God's name would he want another one?

It sounds like the Red Bull teams are being broken up. In my opinion, Kurt is going to start the season with one of the underfunded teams. If he is LUCKY he MIGHT be able to get the 51 or 71. He'll be on the short list when the first heads start rolling, but if you think any top-flight team is going to start a team or make room for this clown, you are the one who is crazy, not Joe Gibbs.

The guy is good for 2-3 wins a year in top equipment, putting him on par with 15 other guys who aren't assholes who alienate everyone they meet. One of the Busch Brothers was going to get taught a lesson, and it looks like it is going to be Kurt. Yes, he should have learned when he left Roush, but remember that he was already gone to Penske when Roush sat hime down for two races.

You guys start thinking about where you want to have lunch, LOL.

Matt just remember soups not a meal

Absolutely. I don't think I have much to worry about, do you? Like I said on another part of this thread, you will sooner see Robby Gordon driving the 24 than you will see Kurt Busch in the 20.
