I love when the bubbles start to pop and rumors become news and expectations become results (some not times that they as were.......my name does not mean I can translate my spanish (mexican) thoughts right) can I do that? Any way the way things are going I'll be pleased to see the start of the rally with Rob in a car and everything else being fluff. I think it was Toni Tennille of famed captain and tennille that first plugged my head with that "fluff" shit. I mean show me a baby sitter who looks like the artist they are playing on the turn table and i'll show you a kid who loved his Hot Wheels -Mighty Mike- and picking change out of the ash pile after the nights couch burning who grew up to be a Robby Gordon fan. But that's way too much information- never understood what that meant but if every body hinges on what ifs and I heards then what the hells the difference huh? Seems there are a few members of this board who seemed to have disappeared and to be honest that has my ear more than what might happen or what might not. Not a twitter head-or face book hero just a guy waiting on facts so reality will be in step with ..........hey there goes that mouse, he might know something !

Several Argentine sites claim Dakar has confirmed Nasser Al-Attiyah in a Hummer for Robby, and that it will be announced today; will see.

This is going to be f'in awesome! Can you just see Robby and Nasser battling as teammates. Is he bring enough money that RGOR can take their own support truck?

OMG! Our arab brother will be bringing enough money for Robby to drive in support. This is awesome, I hope this gives Robby's organisation enough exposure in the different Emarates (Mucho money) that he can build on for a solid dakar effort for 2013. We are talking about the defending Dakar champ driving for Robby. This is just unbeleivable. Coup de tat, my borthers and sisters.

If the press can be believed, it looks like Nasser Al. will have full sponsership from Qatar. It sounds like RGM might have found the sugar daddy sponser. Good luck and podiums to both drives.

The link above is about as official as it can get at this point

Having the defending champion drive for you is GREAT! But Nasser's ability to quickly transition from a short wheel base, 4WD, Turbo charged, diesel to a long wheel base, 2WD, fuel injected gas engine is going to be key. No question he has the skills to do it, how fast he can do it will be cruicial to getting the desired results.
