STAGE 2 TRACKING

STAGE 2: De La Pampa > San Rafael

Connection 487km | Special Stage 290km | Total 777km

COURSE OVERVIEW

The competitors will have an early start and a long way to go to join the start of the special stage. But the pace that the drivers will have to keep up on the first very fast part of the route will immediately ensure that they remain extremely focused. After the big, fast bends negotiated on firm ground, the entrance in a backdrop of dunes will significantly slow down their progress. In Nihuil, the grey-coloured sand bears witness to the intense volcanic activity which occurred in the region several thousand years ago.

With Robby's penchant for destruction he needs to cool it for a few days before he goes balls to the wall.

Looking Good at WP1

#1 on course through WP 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think we just might have this stage today.

Yeah good things coming.

18:01 Cars: Gordon flashes past CP1!
The American nearly broke the speedometers at CP1, by putting in the quickest performance in his Hummer. With a time of 1:00’22”, he was 34 seconds quicker than Frenchman Stephane Peterhansel (Mini), who until then was leading in this first half of the special stage.

Is there an issue with scoring?

Has the 321 1st throught WP2 but he was friggin 17th 5:18 back at WP1

He would have had to go from WP1 to WP2 in like 14 minutes

How much further?

Nasser moving up. Picked up almost 7 mins

4th through WP3 3:34 back

Anybody got a clue what is happening?
None of the 5 through WP3 are listed as going through WP2.
