STAGE 10 TRACKING

STAGE 10: Iquique > Arica

Connection 317km | Special Stage 377km | Total 694km

COURSE OVERVIEW

The drivers will be overcome with even more intense sensations early in the morning. It is precisely at the beginning of the special stage that they will be deeply moved by a spectacular view, combining sand and waves, which continues for several kilometres. The theme will remain constant, since the most experienced experts will be able to surf on the dunes which stretch out for around a hundred kilometres. On the other hand, the difficult fesh-fesh area that will have to be tackled at the end of the special stage will bring everyone back to the tough reality of the long-distance rally.

What would Nasser drive next year? are the VW back next year?

He said his dream was to be back next year with Citroen. Not sure if he means factory support or a customer deal. Or heck, maybe Robby is switching to Citroen bodies next year! lol

hmmmmmm. You don't say a FRENCH car company..... time to place your bets who will win this next year

He's putting a deal together with Citroen for Dakar next year.

How is the hummer in the fesh fesh?

Nothing is good in the fesh fesh. Tricky and risky for all. But in our favor are 1) fesh is at the end of the stage when we will have a light fuel load, and 2) We should be "opening the road" so no dust from others or other stuck cars to bog us down. Its risky and dangerous, but we have the best spot to get through it.

GAS ON Neeed to make some more time today. This has been has been a great start to my 2012

Robby Gordon underway in stage 10. First update at KM50 of 377

Looks like some lostime at WP1. 3 mins down?

It was a pretty short segment to lose much unless he had some navigation trouble or maybe a tire... Even if he was just cruising, he shouldn't drop 2-3 minutes.

gas up ,gas on ,gas down, you mother trucker and good luck

almost same time as the great wall, wtf
