Raceday chat now works on the Ipad & Iphone.
STAGE 10: Iquique > Arica
Connection 317km | Special Stage 377km | Total 694km
COURSE OVERVIEW
The drivers will be overcome with even more intense sensations early in the morning. It is precisely at the beginning of the special stage that they will be deeply moved by a spectacular view, combining sand and waves, which continues for several kilometres. The theme will remain constant, since the most experienced experts will be able to surf on the dunes which stretch out for around a hundred kilometres. On the other hand, the difficult fesh-fesh area that will have to be tackled at the end of the special stage will bring everyone back to the tough reality of the long-distance rally.

Perhaps this was addressed earlier, but in todays video interview, Robby clearly siad that Nasser could have continued to run, and finished around 5th, but he chose to go home instead.
Could this really be true ?
He could have limped it in & been down a couple hours... with a few fixes & decent runs, he would easily have been top 10 & top 5 would be within reach... Instead he decided to be a Quitarian Loser.
Look's like the mod's need some sleep. We have one discussion that needs nuked and this isn't posted yet.

good find you can see the frustration and here the competitive diplomacy,
Thanks for the video will it sheds alot of light on a number of subjects I half ass understand what all the hoopla is about with the Hummer don't know how it became an issue at this point but here we are. finding out Nasser could have finished the rally and supported RG but chose to call it quits kind of sucks its a shame what happened with his ride but thats racing shit happens. .....So Robby Kick some mini ass over the next 3 days!!
"Their not sure if our inflation system is a nitrous bottle" *rolls eyes*
That was great. :)
I also liked that RG automatically assumed that the ruling was going to to against him and that they would appeal.
So let's see here. The Russian Kamaz team (close to the lead in the truck class) gets excluded because they were either held to blame for a "crash" with a car driven by Argentines, who said that the crash was NOT the Russian's fault...or they were busted for "not providing sufficient assistance to a vehicle in dire need"...or something like that.
Then the French biker Despres buries himself in the mud and the same thing happens to another bike. The 2nd rider helps Despres out of the mud, who rides off as the guy is begging "Please...please" for the Frog to help him out in return. "Not providing sufficient...." and so on. Then the Frog gets his time adjusted for when he was stuck in the mud....but apparently not everyone got the same treatment.
Yesterday Monsieur Le Frog doesn't move over and sprays a barrage of rocks at RG, causing him to crash. No penalty.
Today (or maybe yesterday) The Peter-Frog not only doesn't stop to help the biker out of the middle of a river, he hits him and knocks him and the bike over. No penalty.
And in the meantime, RG's accused of using tire pressure as a "redneck blower" to (according to the French site covering the event) double his HP. So they exclude him, but allow him to keep going, so that the FIA can decide to take the victory away later, just in case he wins.
And, yeah, Nasser picked up his arab skirts and went back to being a Prince of Qatar. Spoiled brat,
And then the Czech team's Tatra truck somehow gets off the road in a transition stage and rolls 3 times, all 3 crew members flown to medical care in a helicopter. No info on how it might have happened.
If somebody wanted to make a case for manipulation of the results, all these little issues might just be a good place to start.
So Ray what are you trying to say? Robby just needs to go out there and kick some butt.

Think Robby is thinking the same thing as all of us
Yep. That about covers it. :) Go Robby!
You know Eddie, that's harsh...but then again so is Robby's, or as the Dakar people put it, "the American" treatment -unless the extra air in the engine thing is true. Maybe Robby should call Lance Armstrong.
