Thanks Mr Gordon for what you do and what you are. Most of the people who like off road in France are on your side and so disappointed of Peterhansel behaviour (knock down a biker in a deep rio water in order to save a couple of seconds, ask for your engine inspection, keep crying as a baby knowing his car and his driver capability are not in line with yours) and global Dakar organisation.

You and TOYO are already the WINNER for us.

French Maids

Thanks, Emmanuel, for the post and the same to the other supportive French posters. I think the Dakar Rally will continue to survive the biased officiating but, it really is a shame. Viv la France, viva la Dakar, viva la RGM!

Peterhansel should be DQ'd just for hitting the biker. The race that has been dominated by Europeans is now being threatened by an American that generates more buzz and entertainment than the whole lot combined. He is exactly what sponsors are looking for.

I cant agree with more. Nice Raptor

I love that truck. The Bible says that we come in this world with nothing and leave this world with nothing. I'm taking my Raptor to heaven with me! : )

I've been lurking some French message boards that will work with google translate. There is one thing that strikes me about the topics discussed. Imagine the horror of piss poor television coverage of the Dakar !!! Perhaps the ire of fans in North America should be directed at the ASO and their actions regarding competition and broadcast rights management. I find it sad that true race fans feel compelled to defend their nationality because of the misdeeds of a few jerks running a shitty operation.

Thank you Emmanuel for voicing your opinion.

As my wife refers to Robby Gordon as "Ricky Bobby" he also had to deal with "Frenchie"

please have a look to this link :
http://www.forum4x4.org/threads/114242-Hummer-au-Dakar/page16

It comes from the main off road forum in France.
No need for translation.

Once again, thank you Robby.

Thank you Emmanuel, that really made me laugh!
