STAGE 13 TRACKING

STAGE 13: Nasca > Pisco

Connection 100km | Special Stage 275km | Total 375km

COURSE OVERVIEW

The dunes are majestic in this part of the country. They will ensure suspense to the very end about who will be the winners and how they will be placed on podium. At the same time, the drivers who are less in a hurry must take nothing for granted even if they are beginning to think about the relief of reaching the finish. They will also have to negotiate a significant number of strings of dunes, avoid confusing valleys which appear to be similar but are in fact different, and fight off the inevitable fatigue after the thousands of kilometres covered. Here every one of the competitors will remember what extreme endurance means here.

Balls bigger than a Mini.

Please tell me they got that on camera...

Heard Robby rolled anyone got any details

202 kilometres into today's special, Robby Gordon was probably trying to claw back the time lost in the dune area 20 kilometres earlier when his car did a somersault. The crew emerged unscathed and are reported to be on their way to the finish.

Heard the same report - no update. Hopefully it's only cosmetic damage o
And he's back on the gas.
On the iPad today - no chat - any news?

301 and 312 thru CP3

@RallyRAIDio: Gordon is now stopped again, probably doing repairs after his crash.

302 thru CP3- in fisrt place now.

Bummer...

Kinda but not really.
I would much rather have him go down swinging than to have him take it easy like all the other pussies.

Stéphane Peterhansel, on the other hand, is driving slightly to the north and seems to have had no problems with the sand so far

I would not be suprised if peterless got inside info from the ASO that told him to go to the north so he would not get stuck.

I can hear it now.

Hey we are getting a lot of flack about how the Frenchman keeps crying so please go this way and don't get stuck again.

You are running out of excuses and people/things to blame it on.
