"I was driving at a high pace when I crossed a dune and suddenly the front of my car crashed into the sand. We were stuck and lost 40 to 45 minutes there. In the meanwhile, Stéphane overtook us and we set off behind him very quickly. Then my car did a somersault, but we put it back on its wheels and continued the special! Incredible! I wanted to beat the Minis with a big margin today. Actually, there was a moment when we were leading them by 30 minutes. At least we had fun."

Ya, fun for Robby is pretty much a lot different than anybody elses idea of fun. Robby once put 6 crocodiles in his pool so he can swim with them... just because it was fun.

You need to look up “fun” in the official RG dictionary. It is not the same definition that Webster gives.

This has been the funnest Dakar for me to follow. From having Robby getting close to running down Peter, to the Nasser debacle, to the cheating accusations, etc. this has been a bery exciting two weeks. Keep it up RGM. I will be buying plenty of Speed for myself and co-workers and hopefully, we will have another Dakar next year!

With only 29 km on the last Stage, Robby ought to be able to win it by about :15 minutes.. This year's attempt has been by far the best effort I've seen him make and although the competition and organizers have been whinning about Robby, the millions of fans that lined the course this year sure love him. A smart man would be waiting on Robby's doorstep to sign up for some billboard space on the side of whatever he takes back down there in 2013!! Awesome performance, simply awesome!!
