It may be up to a 2 month wait for the full decision on the intake irregularities on robby,s motor most motorsport,s apply rules very strongly on regulation restrictors . The race was really lost in the desert with both hummers going to quick and a hasty overtaking move !! the race is long patience is the key to the daker the idea being second into most stages to follow then to take the lead and win,you only need to be seconds ahead to win ,robby could have played the game and blown the mini away on the last stage down the beach where his buggy was strong on speed and no danger,I,m sure he will return stronger in his lessons from the dakar and be back again to compete. without a doubt the hummer was far better sprung,balanced and faster than the mini but 10 wins and many more dakar,s make a wise racer ,us english hate the french with a passion but they know the dakar !! i look forward to next years installment .
