I'd like to give ya better advice but I'm still 50-50 as far as the actual painting part . I'm great at the graphics and stuff but the last body I did I screwed up. What I usually do is get all the graphics and stuff laid out then give it to a friend of mine who airbrushes . This past one I tried to do myself with spray cans to try and save a few bucks and totally screwed it up . From what my friend tells me it was more than likely to cold in my basement and that's what screwed up the paint . My suggestion to you is to find someone who airbrushes or try it yourself but practice on clear pop bottles like I've been doing . Still sending my current body out but I'm getting better . If you live anywhere near Tool in Vegas hit him up maybe he can do it for ya

the video doesnt load

I would like to see the video as well!

tell me if this is a correct procedure ?

or if you have anything to contribute
mj ?
tool ?

should I back up the colors with white just like the original orange ?
or some other color ?

Thanks Jeff idk what happened with the video load lol anyway hope it helps . The few paint jobs that actually came out when I did it were just plain one color paint schemes . It's when I tried the 2 color scheme that I had trouble .

Yeah Jeff, it looks good from here. I back up all my colors with white and then when Im done competely, I spray the entire inside white. One thing though is, I do not cut out any body vents, wheel wells ect until im completely done painting. I paint, cut, pull the protective coating off, then decal and go race!

local hobby shops in my area dont have the new body style available yet does anybody have a web site that would have in stock ?
I'm in SoCal.

I'm gonna do a Green, Yellow and Pink.

Yeah my friend that does my bodies backs the colors with white and if the main color IS white he uses silver . Not only does it help the colors pop it also adds another of paint to protect the paint from tire rubs . Another thing I do to protect it is put black vinyl tape in the wheel wells as well as other places that tend to rub . Like where the shock towers are , around the holes where the body post go thru , and near the rear bumper
Tool hey bro is your Polaris paint scheme that PRO-LINE Raptor ? I know you told me but I forget . It looks alot different than my JConcepts Raptor especially with the hood vents . Basically just asking so all the newbies can see all the different bodies out there ( and yes people there are Chevys out there I'm just diehard Ford guy in case you haven't noticed lol )
