Do you think it might be worth entering a 2nd car in the race? If you get lucky and get them both in(with PJ or someone else) its a nice payday.. If you get one in than you accomplish your goal of getting in the race.. I'm sure they'll have a backup car anyway the entry fee and prep might be worth it...

the expense for leasing a Penske RP engine would make a second car prohibitive.Robby needs to make into the show first.

Will he lease a Penske RP engine for this race? Hope it's a fresh one!

strictly speculation on my part that RGM will lease a RP engine from Penske.Last year they did for all 4 RP races.

Roger wouldn't give Robby junk.IMO

Too big of a race, All the efforts need to be on the #7...

(FROM JAYSKI.COM)

Frank Stoddard, owner of the #32 FAS Lane Racing team, has worked out a deal where the #55 Michael Waltrip Racing team [Mark Martin and Michael Waltrip as drivers] gets the 2011 owners points and a guaranteed starting spot in the Daytona 500 and next four races. Supposedly Terry Labonte will be the driver of the #32 Ford in the Daytona 500 and will have the past champions provisional to use if needed. Then the twist....after the Daytona 500, the #32 takes over the #6 owners points and will be guaranteed the next four races after the Daytona 500. This is all contingent on NASCAR's approval

Total joke how they can swap points like this.

yes i agree

I was in the top 35 in my fantasy racing league at work. As soon as Robby makes me a partner, he can have my points and we’re locked in.

I think Na$car needs to put a stop to this. It's getting way out of hand.

Many have reported this might be the last year points can be transferred (bought)... Nascar has taken alot of heat of owner's points changing hands. Not to mention the last two years Front Row Motorsports swapped points within it's 3 car team to aid the lowest team when needed. It was all done within the rules, which is now forcing Nascar to make changes to these rules.

Bob Pockrass tweeted "Budweiser Shootout Entry list should release today (2/13) and Daytona 500 entry list Wed or Thurs..."
