A message to Robby...

Thanks for speaking directly to us during the PHX race over your 2-way. It was a very frank and direct comment. I can only imagine how difficult it is to get out of a perfectly running car with the skills to win. I promise you, you keep trying and we (your fans) will keep watching, supporting, and buying what your selling. Keep the faith, Karma can be a bitch sometimes, but Karma works both ways and brother you are due.

Michael, During the first caution Robby key up his mic and said (Paraphrasing here) "this is for all my fans, In a few laps the front end is about to fall off the car and we are going to park it. it sucks parking the car but there is nothing I can do about it until I get additional sposors or until Speed takes off. I know you hate it but believe me I hate it worse. Its going to be this way for a while. In a few days we are going to put out a 'memo' on the logistics of running a cup team that will explain what we are going through" etc. Then he said "Goose permission to do a fly by?" and drove down pit lane.It was a very honest moment and sort of left us in a daze on PR chat. The highs and low of an RG fan...Dakar Stage wins and Qing for daytona... ASO DQ's and Cup S&P.....

thanks for posting this.... my scanner on my phone kept acting up and next thing I knew he was parked and I was away from my computer so I missed the chat until he was already parked....

Wow, that actually tugs at the heartstrings. You put it better than I could hope to. We are Robby Gordon fans! If that means some s&p's while he gets some other plates spinning up to Speed (originally wasn't going for a pun, but then I embraced it) then so be it. I'm a Robby fan because I admire his skill and successes both behind the wheel and as a maverick business man. I trust that he's going to do what he needs/wants to. To that end I hope he succeeds and perhaps more importantly enjoys what he's doing as much as I enjoy watching.

Agree on this post. We will keep supporting. & it was awesome of Robby to care about his fans this much. Gas on RGM. The off-road program is good and the NASCAR one will get better.
