Semi Sponsor idea.....
Okay most people going to tell me just buy speed(which I do, I have 1 every day of week) and some will say dumb idea. But what if PLANETROBBY memebers sent him a check of a min of $50 and sent a picture of themselves as well in the mail. Then Robby could put the members pictures on his car(like fill the SPEED symbol). This would just be a cool theme and a way to show how loyal Robby's fans are. This wouldnt be a big sponsor or alot of money but since he is for sure running both road courses he could use money and theme than or for late daytona race or talladegga. I know you can donate on here, but there would be no way for a photo to be uploaded. (unless it shows who donated). Just an idea figured it could be a cool way for us to get involved and have Robby involved with all his loyal fans on his car.
Most think dumb idea or to much work.... but just an idea. Thanks

Buy SPEED and/or ANYTHING from his online store( He owns that 100% ). Still the best way for people to help out. He started the SPEED brand with the notion that it would eventually , in due time, be able to self fund the race team. To me that is the only way for people to help out..keep buying SPEED.

Lets assume just about every American RG fan is a PR member, thats 12827. Out of that 12827, lets try to figure out how many would donate $50. Id say 300 MAX. 300 x $50 = $15,000. Dont fool yourself, people talk a big game, but when it comes to go-time, they wont send him cash.
The Packers were only able to sell to 112158 people, and nobody will argue that the Packers fan base dwarfs RG's.
Having said that, lets assume all 12827 members decide to donate (which wont happen). 12,827 x $50 = $641 350
$641 350 is a lot of money, but would that be enough for one or 2 races? or spread out to all 36? $17,815 a race, its better to S&P.
To sum up, as TOG said, building the Speed brand is the only way.

Look at the numbers for Planet Premium. 12287 signed up for the free PR but only 45 feel it is worthwhile to pay for it.

I disagree with TOG. Even if Robby gets 100 % of the money from the SPEED sales, there is a cost associated with the manufactor/distribution. If 100,000 fans (and we all know Robby has a million more fans) donated $50.00 each for the cause that would be $5,000,000.00. Thats enough for Robby to run at least 20 full races. m in if a special account is set up. We could call it the fans of Robby sponsorship.

Im not trying to be "that guy" but if The GreenBay Packers can only find 121,827 fans to donate, how would RG even hope for a fraction of that?
You know, this sponsorship can be started right now. You have the floor, most of his fans come here and a few other sites. Lets see what happens.

Lol........20 races for 5 mil? I don't think so. Robby only ran 17 races in 2000 and I remember him saying "We had 7 million to work with and spent it all."

Robby said that he could run all the races for 8 million at the Daytona interview.

You can run all the races for 8 million - at the back of the pack and on a steady diet of KD. The teams that run up front every week on not doing it on 8 million. I would bet it's just south of 20 million.
