Not a good day for sure but sounds like he is taking the high road.

I can't find anything bad to say. I can't find anything to blame it on. I don't think Dodge could do much in the sense that it's not theirs just like Hendricks system is not Chevrolets'. I don't believe you can gain anything by getting upset. I can't I just can't you know why? I was at the crap table next to a guy who was 92 years old, I gave my shopping cart to a lady who looked every bit of 88 as I was leaving a shopping center I seen two ladies who were clearly sisters and if I had to guess were 75 plus, all today. This all today. Each of them had a smile and acknowledged me with a smile and for my looks was pretty friendly. However there is a healthy inconsiderate young man who postures himself in a rude and imposing manner to others.......he knows something went wrong today. It went very wrong for him unhurt mind you and no damage to any person or thing. But for his bet he came across the wrong lawn. However seeing such peaceful folks with so much of life under their belt and still a smile I just felt it my obligation to pass along some wisdom to someone who was unable to find it themselves. The sun will shine again and I'm happy to be part of this adventure, it will all come and being angry works sometime and helps as a release but the entitlement is just unattractive. If you knew who I was you would understand. I can't put my finger on the formulation of happiness, sadness and rudeness. This really pissed me off.

So file today under 'shit happens'!

Burned by Technology

*breath in..... breath out* *damn*

So my Missouri Tigers pull the biggest joke of a game today in NCAA tourney history, and then EFI gate with RG at Britol....this weekend sucks
Just another one of NASCRAPs legendary screw ups . And I quote " this will be more cost effective for all the teams involved " . Well Mr France what's so cost effective of not finishing races in Tony Stewart's case and not even being able to start one in Robby's case . In my opinion there is ONE big thing wrong with NASCRAP and it starts with corporate , France - Helton - and trickles all the way down .

Time to get out of Dodge.

So heavy hearted today for RGM! It all boils down to economics of today and I think NASCAR should have come up with some way of extended testing of EFI prior to competition.
Small teams like RGM could not afford testing and all that was out there was a couple weekends and the shootout. If RGM was loaded with funds, they could always buy technical support from the big teams, but NO ONE in NASCAR has the funds to do anything but survive. NASCAR keeps saying they are keeping the cost of owning a team down, but they cannot.
The only way to keep costs down is to go to an IROC style of racing and NO ONE supported that!
As a small business owner myself, I understand how tough it is to keep trucking through this. I am consistently AMAZED that Robby can do press conferences and keep that smile and confidence!!! That is what makes me a fan!

That had to be the hardest thing Robby has ever had to do in his racing career! We need to stay positive, learn from this and keep our heads up. Gas On

"Gordon, one of only three NASCAR drivers this year running Dodges, says he has called Dodge boss Ralph Gilles since Penske announced two weeks ago that he would be moving to Ford. But Gordon says Gilles has not yet returned his inquiries."

So much for Dodge and Robby, it would seem.
