Howdy to TOG et al
Just wondering how the preparation is going for the RoadCourse races this year. Is the team bringing a new car, are there tests scheduled @ VIR,, Pit Crew practicing etc etc. Any insight would be appreciated.
Apologies if this has been discussed previously.
Thanks
Dan

I doubt it will be a new car, maybe updated a little.
No idea about testing though.
The road course car was brand new last year, after Kimi wrecked the other one. No need for another new one, I think.
I'm thinking Robby is putting some good effort into this. (First Focus):The Sonoma race is always a good opportunity for him to steal one from NASCAR. Plus, he has alot of Northern California fans up there that support him and I'm sure he wants to put on a good show.
Good question in regards to testing. Is he??
"Forward Bite" is the key and will take a lot of preperation/testing for the #7 SPEED ENERGY car to lead the pack!
Those of you that get your hopes up for a good finish at Sonoma may be disapointed. Not running every week is a disavantage that might hurt. When a crew preps cars week in and week out they don't miss much if anything. That isn't the case for RGM now. Then the over the wall crew probably won't be as good as most of the others either. Good crews work and train together everyday. It's kind of like Robby is becoming just another road course ringer and none of them have a great track record recently. Honestly, I do hope he does well. I will probably go watch again this year.
X2........Sadly
I was hoping maybe RGM had saved up something special for this race. We will see. Maybe he will drive another team's car. Never know.
I think his team has been practicing at some ARCA races. I remember when he pulled off a great finish with the number 13 a while back. As long as the engine holds up I think our driver will be good!!!
