Did anyone else see that SCORE is only gonna have 3 races next year? All in Baja. Hard to believe that that series has gone from 6 or 7 to just 3. You can tell who pads Sals pocket.

My guess... More like blm permitting issues and insurrance costsin the us

As well as a crappy economy that is affecting entry numbers and sponsorship.

SCORE has had a 6 mi course at loflin for a few ,but SNORE has had a 12mi course,,RAGE AT THE RIVER,,if it was not for the legend of Baja races1000,500 history and Mexico SCORE would be done. At the same time You would think Loflin would pick up fees or do something to keep a score race in that dump,SCORE is big bucks and you would want those wealthy type A personalities having a "cock off" at the tables and yea the B.LM. Has been sued over and over by the environmenal terrists for ever,, they end up settling with shutting down land use,,,,,all legal bs....But I think Sal has seen his day and milked that pig for all it's worth

Sal has cried for years that its the BLMs fault, but yet the new HDRA and BITD and others have found ways to make it work.....Hell The HDRA has a race at the very place that Sal said couldn't happen again......StateLine. Sal is about money and if it was gonna cost more for the insurance, that was less in his pocket.

I dont understand, if Sal isnt making money, why do it? Why go in the hole? None of us have his financials, so we dont know, but Id suspect HDRA and BITD have lower operation costs, meaning they could still pull a profit at US locations. SCORE is big, so the costs could be higher for them than the other series.

Question, what happened with MDR after the accident?

Could it also be that things are cheaper in Mexico plus there's no competition from other sanctioning bodies ?
