#78 Furniture Row team might have to wait on Kurt Busch...Robby available?

If NASCAR suspends Kurt Busch for this weekend's race at Charlotte, the Furniture Row team will need to scramble for a driver. Seems like the talent pool would be very slim... AJ Allmandinger could be a possibility... But teams aren't lining up to put him behind the wheel yet. Could be a great for Robby to slap some SPEED Energy stickers on that black car and gets some great PR about SPEED and his new stadium racing series !

Kurt will be the talk of the pre-race show if he's suspended by NASCAR. The driver who fills in will get lots of publicity. Look how much Hornish has banked off of AJ's mistake

Of course if it paid more than Blue Water...

i hope not.... a championship in a real sport is on the line!

I doubt Kurt is getting suspended. He was parked for the race yesterday.

RG already has a ride this weekend in the BITD

A fine and points penalty maybe. Suspension, I highly doubt it.

Thank you TOG I am sooooo sick of everyone hopping on the NASCRAP band wagon . And yes i know I'm gonna catch all kinds of shit for it . But people NASCAR is done ! Robby has returned to his TRUE roots . Real racing in the real world . Dirt , dust , rocks , water , mud , sand , and everything in between . A thousand miles over 24-48 hours . NASCAR's longest race is only 600 miles and 4-5 hrs at the most and is on smooth pavement . I'll take offroad racing over NASCAR every time .

The last time Robby drove for someone in NASCAR was? Nationwide, great clips..or JR motorsports...I'm not sure he is on top of the list for that,,, I wouldn't mind, I'd watch I'm an RG fan,,,u get him up front and it's on,,, I'm a huge off road fan,,,,I've seen Robby in mex and know where his fav. taco stands are , ,,,but it's not on TV 36+ times a year

Some of us became Robby fans during his NASCAR career. Not everybody here only enjoys off road racing. NASCAR can be as boring as watching paint dry, but without Robby out there to root for there isn't much to watch at all on Sundays. I've given up the hope of Robby "getting the call" some weekend when he didn't get a ride for Watkins Glen. Robby's number isn't in anybody's address book anymore. Nationwide or Truck drivers will get called up first, not somebody who hasn't sat in a Cup car since June. However, don't jump down people's throat for having a glimmer of hope. YOU may hate NASCAR, but not everybody agrees with you.
