The #18 of Lopez/Gordon has passed through RM450 of 1120, 19th in class, 1hr6m behind
I hope the truck is in good shape for Robby when he gets in cuz he's gonna be hauling some serious azz!
after RM850 of 1120, Robby Gordon is 10th in class
Baja 1000 now complete for Robby Gordon. Looks like a 10th or 11th place finish in the TT class, 3hrs behind. Hell of a comeback.
Where did they end up overall in the Championship standings? Are points awarded based on position finished or elapsed time?
??? Good Question i guess.
That sucks
by my calculations here are the points.O/A position is only for bragging, not points.Class finish is for the points
BJ Baldwin 404 and the 2012 SCORE TT Champion
Rob MacCachren 402
Juan Lopez 399
Steve Strobel 380
effectively the 18 lost 2h57m's due to shocks and flats (reportedly) the 18 would have need'd to be 6th or better with BJ getting 2nd,for the Championship.FYI, by my notes, once Robby got in the truck ,he only lost 14min's to Tavo. BJ lost by 15:56 to Tavo and lead on course for appr.75% of the way.
again just my math based on 36 starters.
