Even though this is a Jefferies built "Buggy" out of Anaheim California, it has an European look, but will it last!

TOG any clue when we'll get an announcement? We've all paid attention long enough to know that when RG's competing the support trucks would have shipped already and the race truck would be shipping about 12/1 ish. In other words, if he's competing then he should be pretty much ready to go today.
Don't know when they will make their announcement, but Dakar begins Jan 5th & the rally starts in Lima, peru ( much shorter shipping distance than Buenos Airies Argentina ) so the logistics for 2012 vs 2013 are more favorable for RG. Last year, They sent out the actual racecars in mid december( Hummers were flown out ) , Support trucks seem like they could get sent out as late as the first of December for this rally. Perhaps after RG seals the deal for the BITD championship they will make their plans known.
The distance by boat seems to be about 2600 nautical miles ( Miami/Peru) vs 5600 nautical miles ( Miami/Buenos Aires Argentina ) - Basically half the distance by boat from previous rallies.
I agree, although I was just pointing out that the trip to Peru is half the distance from the same state they launched from last year. Like you said, a west coast departure would be even shorter.
#329 or #333 ?? a couple hummers still in the bay.
315 is the better choice, day one, the start is numeric.Only one other HUMMER (#2) is available.Hummer #3 was converted back to a Class 1 rig and was raced last week at the 1K.
