STAGE 1 TRACKING
STAGE 1: LIMA > PISCO
Connection 250km | Special Stage 13km | Total 263km
COURSE OVERVIEW
It won’t be long before competitors will be singled out, but for the moment, the mini special stage organised on the outskirts of Pisco will principally be used to divide up the drivers into categories according to their level, who in turn will reassemble during the rally. The initial stage won’t be as stiff as the drink that made the region famous, but the picture postcard landscape is especially appealing. The concentration required over the several timed kilometres will still allow the competitors to admire the scenery. Nevertheless, the light-hearted attitude and relaxed driving style adopted by the competitors during this first day must not mislead them: the Dakar has really begun.
The GREEN section of the route is the connection , the RED is the Special Section of the stage.

stuck, than broke reverse
I'm on my tablet, its hard to search around. CNN said he ended 10 minutes behind. Was it a car problem, or driver error. If it was a simple mistake, I'm not worried about the time.
So, could somebody give me a brief update and his time back? And please don't give me the standard wise a** answer "go look through the comments we talked about it", remember I'm on y tablet
got stuck, then broke reverse
31:45 back
OK, thank you. 31, yikes gonna make it fun!!!!
Got stuck too.. Not sure if it was related to the gearbox
Here's the way I see it; we all know Robby can make up a half hour easily if he has no mistakes. And the Fuglys (or whatever they're called) will have first year gremlins. I still think a win is very possible.
I think Robby did this on purpuse just to give us something fun to watch, just like the year our Anaheim Angels won (I know it wasn't on purpose haha)
Anybody know how the bugglies and peterpuffer did????
Carlos won
